After a six year turnaround that re-positioned and fortified Safeguard Scientifics, then President and CEO Peter J. Boni was honored with the E&Y Master Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award. When asked how Safeguard was able to regain its position of strength, Boni humbly responded, “I don’t know man, it just clicked.”

In reality, the successful repositioning had directly resulted from Boni’s mantra of Vision. People. Focus.—a mantra that yielded significant milestone deals for Safeguard and outfitted the company with exciting prospects for the future.
