The Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) honored Safeguard Scientifics with its 2012 Investment Deal of the Year Award for Shire’s $750 million acquisition of its partner company Advanced BioHealing. Safeguard received the same award the year prior for the successful acquisition of former partner company Clarient by GE Healthcare in December 2010.

Safeguard shares in PACT’s passion for establishing the Greater Philadelphia region as a competitive hub for innovation in the areas of information technology, clean technology and life sciences.
